Do you have any addons installed? Please also post the output in stdout.txt
(or however it is called). It should be either in your wesnoth folder or in
the userdata folder, not sure at all how things are done in Windows these
days. Please do also check if the problem still exists in 1.7.11 (download
link:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/wesnoth/files/wesnoth/wesnoth-1.7.11/wesnoth-1.7.11-1.8beta4-win32.exe/download
).
In general this sounds like a very system specific issues since we had no
other report about a bug this bad. Please do also attach some screenshots of
the problems.
