Follow-up Comment #1, patch #1644 (project wesnoth):
I'd call the option --preprocess since that's what it does.
Is there a need to create directories at all? Why not just allow paths that
are absolute or relative to the current directory and throw an error if the
path doesn't exist? Makes it much easier to tab-complete the command and it
seems ok to rely on the user to provide a valid path.
