Follow-up Comment #1, bug #15938 (project wesnoth):
Okay, I tested this and will slightly work around this problem by stating
that you have to reconnect to the MP server to make the change work. The
problem:
If you connect to the MP server using the old lobby things are displayed
nicely. Switch to the new lobby using the preferences button provided in the
lobby. This does work and it displays the new lobby. Now opening the
preferences to switch back to the old lobby does not work.
Since it is unlikely that this will be fixed for 1.8.1, so I will add a
comment about this in the mouse over info for this option stating that
reconnecting to the server is required to have it work.
