Per my forum PM to ivanovic CC Espreon, this diff file applies the draft
typography rules in the Wesnoth Wiki to all campaign cfg files except HTTT
and DW.
Changes are:
Most (80%+) ellipses converted to three dots+trailing space. Some
exceptions.
Various typos fixed
(**) markup and SHOUTING capitals converted to <i> tags, plus some <big>,
<small> or <b>
Some capitals still remain, but these are intentional.
All '(*Whispers*)' and similar have been converted
Over-the-top laughter (I'm looking at you, Malifor) and death gurgles toned
back a bit.
Gotchas:
A side-effect of the search and replace used was that it converted some tabs
and multi-spaces to single spaces, and trimmed some leading and trailing
spaces from the start and end of quotes. May affect layout of some #comments.
Don't /think/ it affects any actual text.
Watch out that the damn thing actually sticks in UTF-8. I'm suspicious that
it's not 100% reliable. It seems OK in Mac vim and RISC OS Zap, but it's
flaky in Mac TextEdit.
If there are any files in the diff other than cfgs, discard them. I pruned
out a .png and an .xproj by hand. There might possibly be one or two other
rogue files though.
