Follow-up Comment #9, patch #1879 (project wesnoth):

If you're happy with it, I'm happy with it. When I generate these pofix
files, I have been applying them to my own campaign .cfg files to make sure
they worked (and quickly playing through some of the campaigns) but I admit I
hadn't tried processing the .pots as well. I'll add that trick to the
armoury.

Basically, the state I'm now at, I've applied nearly 2000 corrections and I
reckon there's, oh, maybe 50-100 miscellaneous errors remaining. Hopefully
under 50. But I'm not going to get to them until this first batch has been
applied, because you just go cross-eyed trying to spot them in amongst
everything you have fixed. I keep spotting minor errors while doing other
parts of the work and then losing them again!

By the way, looking at rev 45048 of pofix.py, dated 3 weeks ago, (which is
ages before I started playing about, so I can't be blamed for them), I see
some very long conversion strings, far over the 80 character limit. Aren't
they going to cause problems too?

Anyway, the latest attachment is a pofix diff for all campaigns except LOW,
HTTT, DW, AOI, DID, L. AFAICS the experimental diff is fine, so this latest
attachment plus file #9992 makes up the full set.

(file #9997)
