        Operating System: Debian Squeeze

Details:

When typing text in the in-game MP message line, assigned hotkey sequences
such as - (zoom out), + (zoom in) or 0 (zoom to 100%) get processed and their
events triggered, which shouldn't happen since it can adversely affect the
user's experience when talking in-game.

This bug is not present in 1.8.3+svn (@r44745), so I suspect there has been
some recent change(s) in the input layer in trunk, either before or after the
1.9.0 release, which has created this interface event-processing issue.

Reproducing:

Start a locally-hosted networked game (Host a network game in the MP menu),
create any game with any amount or kind of players (local, networked, and
possibly AI players), then in the in-game map view use the hotkey (m) to
talk. Assuming +, - and 0 are still the defaults for the aforementioned
functions, try typing strings such as "+++++", "------", or "0---0---0---" in
the input line, and you'll see the map zooming out and in.
