Details:

Rev 46289, compiled today. Running Wesnoth in a Mac OS window theoretically
lets you resize it.

However, resizing windows, whether larger or smaller, does not trigger the
needed redraws. If you're in the main menu and you shrink the window too
small, the game instantly quits. You can sometimes get partial redraws, if
you manage to move the mouse over an active button or trigger a map scroll,
but you're likely to miss any scenario messages that try to pop up.
