Follow-up Comment #1, bug #16825 (project wesnoth):
I've also just noticed, the 2048 value is incorrectly retained as the
'maximum' buffer value when you restart Wesnoth. You have to drag the slider
up and down to reset it to the correct 512-4096 range.
