Follow-up Comment #1, bug #17628 (project wesnoth):
Indeed, there should probably be a way to filter out all add-ons that are
already installed in any version (updating add-ons is a separate screen).
Most likely that filter should be enabled by default, with a way to show all
add-ons if for some reason you want to re-download one that you already have.
