Details:
Alpha channel appears to be missing for the Galdrad character text box
graphic. Bug was detected in wesnoth 1.9.5 installed via the precompiled
windows installer. Bug is apparent in the second tutorial mission. Other
characters do not appear to be affected, so this is unlikely to be a hardware
problem. A save file is not required, as it is sufficient to start the second
tutorial mission to see the bug.
