Details:

Hi, tim, maybe this should be two bugs reports, I let you decide how to
handle this.
After getting the 64 bit versions for both standalone and eclipse+plugin, I
tried to set up the environment (on a side note: for an average Mac user it
must be near impossible to get the paths right!).

After that I let the IDE import the campaigns and import the mainline and
add-ons.

a) For the standalone version, most importing took way to long (some even
tens of minutes!), it often froze my IDE, and I always got the
java.lang.NullPointerException

b) For the Eclipse+Plugin version, the importing of everything took just a
few seconds. That's good!, however, I got the following error messages:

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Wesnoth Project Builder' on project
'_Mainline_tutorial'.
java.lang.NullPointerException

and

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Wesnoth Project Builder' on project
'_Mainline_Under_the_Burning_Suns'.
java.lang.NullPointerException
Errors running builder 'Wesnoth Project Builder' on project
'_Mainline_tutorial'.
java.lang.NullPointerException

[sic!, tutorial twice!]

I cannot, unfortunately, add any logs: the `wesnoth_plugin' directory
described in the README.pdf isn't in my /tmp directory, neither is it anywhere
else (according to find / -name "wesnoth_plugin").

Because the standalone's issue is much more severe, you might want to
separate this into a different bug.

I suspect I'll concentrate onto the eclipse+plugin version in future, as it
seems to be less buggy — I'm still not a volunteer tester, but a
self-interest driven wanna-use-IDE guy ;-)
