Follow-up Comment #11, bug #18080 (project wesnoth):

This is stupid.

AFTER deainstalling plug-in, I removed all wesnoth-plugin files.

Now, when I try to reinstall, I get this error:

--of course it does not, I deleted it, as you suggested.

Really, if you'd increase the sub-sub-version counter, Eclipse would just
detect that there is somehting to update.
It's bad practice to publish differing versions under the same ID anyway...
