The current SDL snapshot includes a fix for this bug.
I've included a compiled copy on the forums to give non-developers a chance
to see if this solves the problem

However, it does have the problem that SDL has dropped support for PowerPC
processors, while Wesnoth has not. Assuming there are no source changes that
are affected by this, I can try modifying the build scripts to add it back.
Also in question is whether to use a snapshot or wait for the next official
release.
