Follow-up Comment #2, bug #18892 (project wesnoth):

I found somethign very interesting. I can"t geta  backtrace on my windows 7,
however, for some strange reason it doesn't crash if my wesnoth is set to
fullscreen(!).

That also means that a proper stderr.txt is generated, here you are:
