Follow-up Comment #1:
Searching a bit, 15004 is actually 1.4 addons. I think using the option falls
into the category "no warranty for anything", since addons from one version
aren't compatible with the ones for another stable version (in general at
least). Extended this is true for every other strange behavior as well.
Withdrawing the bug.
