Update of bug #19280 (project wesnoth):
Status: None => Invalid
Open/Closed: Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #1:
Let's look at what happened. Konrad was severely injured and went to a village
to heal. The enemy boss responded by attacking, with a 94% chance of killing
Konrad. Konrad, brought to his senses by this close call with death, wants to
sensibly retreat to a safer village to finish healing. Hence, "I hope I have a
chance to retreat after this!"
Sure, the enemy leader did not hit him, but Konrad was still extremely hurt
(down to 9 HP) from his earlier attacks and in need of retreating. The message
was still applicable. (By the way, if the enemy leader had hit Konrad on any
one of those three swings, Konrad would not have said anything about pulling
back. Because he would have been dead. And the game would be over. With you
losing. 94% chance. Sorry, but moving Konrad to that village at that time was
a really bad move. If anything, he should have complained earlier.)
Sure, with the healing he got on his turn, his chance of death dropped to 35%
for the enemy leader's next attack, but would you want to hang around in a
place where you had a 35% chance of dying? Should a player be advised to leave
his leader in a position that carries a 35% chance of losing the game this
turn? No, retreat him!
Marking this as invalid since retreating was good advice.
