Follow-up Comment #1:
An important missing detail that was mentioned in IRC: *during a side_turn
event or the like*. The tag works fine during a side's turn.
Gabba, one issue is that wb::manager::on_init_side() is called after the
side-initialization events. Can that line (in play_controlled.cpp, line 660
stable, 669 trunk) simply be moved before the events? Or does this bug mean
that selecting a unit is doing more processing than it should?
