Follow-up Comment #3, bug #21127 (project wesnoth):
I have a theory. If you want to test the theory before I get a chance to,
change line 422 of handlers.cpp from
handle_event_commands(event_info, vconfig(cfg_));
to
handle_event_commands(event_info, vconfig(cfg_, true));
That is probably not the proper fix, but if my theory is right, that should
fix this symptom.
