Details:

If a player disconnects then the host must choose what to do. He can
- pass the control to any player (including himself)
- pass the control to an observer
- end the game

Imagine a 1 vs 1 game: if there is no observer then the host is forced to see
the position of his opponent (and so to cheat).

Solution 1 (preferred):
add an option that allows to put the side in an 'idle' mode
Solution 2:
add an option that allows to save the game (but then the host must reload the
game)
