Details:

Currently, the earliest event available when a unit advances fires when the
advancement path is already chosen, which in particular also means it fires
_after_ the user has gone through the advancement dialog if there are several
options. In my opinion, it would make sense to add another event that fires
before all this happens. This would have several advantages (I'm sure that
there are others):

* The wiki says that "if this event removes the unit, changes the unit's type,
or reduces the unit's experience below what it needs to advance, then the
advancement is aborted." It would be nicer and less confusing if this happened
before the advancement dialog is shown.
* It'd be possible to display messages or other things before anything related
to advancements happens.
* One could even modify the possible advancement options to take effect for
the advancement process about to start.

I am not suggesting to modify the existing "advance" event in any way, but
simply to add a "preadvance" event.
