Follow-up Comment #1, bug #23130 (project wesnoth):
It looks like the commit you referred to on irc was just an error, I think I
misread the code.
The best thing would be if we could make a simple unit test for the experience
modifier feature.
If you find that it fixes the bug then I think the commit should be reverted.
