Details:
wesnoth should show a notification when waiting for a remoteuer choice
forlonger than ~2 seconds.
I think there are 2 situations that should be handled sperately:
1) user choices during prestart events, this is the most important case
because currently if the game waits for a remote user choice during a prestart
event it shows a black screen and becomes unresponsive making it look like the
gmae crashed (stuck in an infinite loop) or something.
In this case we should show a dialog that says something like "waiting for
remote input". I currently dont know of a wy to make a gui2 dialog that waits
for remote input to it would require https://gna.org/bugs/?23271 or similar to
be implemented
2) user choices during other events, this case it not that important, the gui
has the usual 'not your turn' state. Still it would be nice to know whats
going on. A dialog would be wrong in this case since it would block the restof
teh gui, especially it would prevent the users from chatting.
In this case we should just show a message that (for example the chat area or
as floating label) that disappeares as soon as the user choice was received.
