Details:
To reproduce:
1) Save a game as using gzip compression
2) Open the .gz file, for example with 7zip and leave it open.
3) Save the game again with the same name
-> Wesnoth crashes without any error message.
Expected behaviour: a 'Cannot write to file' message.
