Details:

After commit 4d14482
(https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/commit/4d144821594f2d85dec091796b288249d84784e4),
local multiplayer no longer works.

After the first local player plays, it stalls, waiting, and never gets to the
second player.

gfgtdf, can you take a look at this?
