Follow-up Comment #1, bug #24357 (project wesnoth):

This is weird, I'm noticing this for Afrikaans (af), Old English (ang),
Bulgarian (bg), Catalan (ca), Greek (el), Esperanto (eo), Estonian (et),
Basque (eu), Irish (ga), Croatian (hr), Indonesian (id), Latvian (lv),
Macedonian (mk), Marathi (mr), and Turkish (tr) as well.

Of the ones which work, I've found Old English Latin (ang@latin), Czech (cs),
Spanish (es), Finnish (fi), French (fr), Gaelic (gd), Galician (gl), Hebrew
(he), Hungarian (hu), Italian (it), Latin (la), Lithuanian (lt), Dutch (nl),
Portuguese (pt), Russian (ru), Slovak (sk), Serbian (sr), Serbian Latin
(sr@latin), Vietnamese (vi), and Chinese Traditional and Simplified (zh).

...so no apparent pattern. :/
