Details:

Sometimes, when the Wesnoth window is not visible (e.g., on another virtual
desktop), scripted events occurring during a scenario crash the game with
SIGSEGV.

How to reproduce:

1. Start Wesnoth and the first scenario of "Legend of Wesmere".
2. Move one of the Elvish lords towards the orcs in the east so that the unit
is certainly going to be killed.
3. End turn and immediately switch to another virtual desktop.
4. Hear the unit die.
5. Notice Wesnoth has died, too.

Output on the console:

Battle for Wesnoth v1.13.5+dev (90b0d66-Clean)
