As the author of that code i expect you to know how it behaves (and you are
wrong here, i just tested).

I know that your change broke umc addons in 1.12 that then showed damages like
for example 64 where the attack had just 8 damage but did double damage on
dwarves, elves or humans (even if there aren't any dwarves, elves or humans on
the current map).

fortunately celticministrel fixed this case ([filter_opponent]), but there is
no reason to think that the other cases have been changed aswell.
