For what it's worth, the only place I upload information about new contributors is the wiki page.

Everything else, at least regarding art, is likely _way_ out of date..

To be honest, I think we should make that wiki page the master list for all of this. It should be convenient for everyone to edit that, and it shouldn't be too hard to hack some script together that repurposes the content of that page into the other places that that is stored.

I think all these ideas are good--

The completion of a campaign is a rare time when the credit IMHO should
go first to those who actually made that campaign.

* The wiki currently has a description of the work many of the contributors performed. I think it would be interesting to retain that information in the
in-game credits. It would make synchronizing the two much easier.

* Would it be appropriate to separate the 1.0 credits from the 1.1+ credits?

Hi everyone!
Now that we have a file for the credits and a WML tag specifically for
this tuff some changes should be done.
* Right now the coders are still in about.cpp. I'd say they should be
moved to data/about.cfg, too. They should also be split up like it is
done for the artists (major and minor contributors, cf the about part
on the website).
* We should maybe differ between "Coders" and "Developers" since we
got active devs that aren't coders.
* The campaign specific parts of the credits should go into the
CampaignName.cfg. This change already was done for utbs, tsg and tb.
* I would propose to only have the "project lead" hardcoded in
about.cpp. This way we can make sure these appear at the top of the
credits even when campaigns are finished. The 2nd position should have
the campaign specific credits. After this, the "normal" about.cfg
credits should be shown.
* The project leadership stuff should be updated, I'd say. ATM there
is still fumoz as Art Leader. He did retreat in the old 0.8.x days
AFAIK. This part does definatly need an update. Who should be enterd
there (not only art, other areas, too)? Which topics do we need there?

I am looking forward to your comments and ideas for this. It would be
nice to really have about.cfg and the website somehow in sync.
