I am not a good judge of music and it might make sense to get rid of awful music, but the music currently doesn't seem awful to me. What I would rather see is the music retained somewhere in the distribution so that people can use it for custom campaigns even if the music isn't being used for included campaigns. I think it will be common for campaign designers to not be musicians and having prewritten free music will be an asset for them. The same idea should apply to images, but the project already has a lot of various images and I get the impression getting an artist to do images for you is currently easier than getting one to write music for you.
