I agree with both of you.

Granted, we're all used to the current system by now, but I'm a firm believer in dropping the status quo for something better.

This is a good idea. I can't work on it right now, but I think that it would be a good contribution to the project. Having consistent behavior is a very

Hi

Unit mouseover and right click to get contect menu is currently
incosistent. It behaves differently depending on if it's your turn or not.

When it's your turn:
Mouseover: shows unit info in right bar
Click: selects, shows movement
Right Click: if selected: delesects, else: Shows context menu

When it's not your turn:
Mouseover: shows unit info in right bar and selects, shows movement
Click: deselects mouseover selection
Right Click: delesect mouseover selection, must click again to get
context menu

The behaviour when it's not your turn is really unfortunate imo.
Clicking to cancel a mouse over effect is not good behaviour, clicking to deselect should be used when you click to select like when it's your turn. Furthermore it shouldn't be necessary to cancel the selection to get the context menu on right click. It should only need one click like
when it's your turn.

I've gotten used to this rather annoying behaviour myself, but I started
thinking about it when I played a game with my brother. It was his
second Wesnoth game ever and after about 10 seconds he asked why right
click behaviour was so stupid :)
