[Wesnoth-dev] Where are my Griffons?

I kill the mother Griffon on Griffon Mountain.  I get messages saying 
how great it is that I'm going to be able to use Griffons in the future, 
both when I kill the mother and when I win the level.  I even walked 
over the nest with the egg graphic, out of paranoia that maybe I have to 
"pick them up."  But, no Griffons!  I realized this a few levels 
belatedly, during Northern Winter, when it would be pretty useful to 
have Griffons.  I played Griffon Mountain over to see what's up, and 
sure enough, no Griffons available when I play the next level, the Ford 
of Abez.
