The individual files changed probably do not matter much. Such information can otoh be helpful for changelog item classification, like identifying the language(s) touched by a commit labelled "translation update", or identifying campaigns impacted by a change. But this could possibly done by the stylesheet itself. There will still be work to be done to those items that are cvs-internal. I do not really see how we could filter any of them out.
