If on the other hand we do, then we have to think about ways to get there
and IMO events are one mechanism to accomplish that. If you have a
different
approach i would like to hear it because the current situation is far away
from being optimal.
I would very much like to see the code become more OO, so I agree with
Yogi's point of view here.
As for "different approaches": well I guess we can rule out polling unless
you want to have separate threads. Still, you do have some options. I highly
