A thought that occurs to me is, the question of whether we still want  
to show off a dev release on the front page like we've been doing - at  
least, so soon after the release of a stable version, and chiefly  
while the dev version does not yet offer any new features over the  
stable version.

I can understand doing it when the dev version actually has  
significant new stuff built up, but at least for the first few point  
releases, I don't see the point of diluting the playerbase.

The only change I'm suggesting is foregoing the big download link at  
the top,
