I don't think putting in support for fribidi 2 would be very difficult. I'd be willing to try to do that, but I don't know how to test that it actually works (only that it compiles successfully and doesn't break English text). Is this something I should try anyway? Is there someone who has access to a machine with fribidi 2 that could actually test this?
The main difference is that the conversion function now allows for conversion between several character sets and unicode rather than utf-8. The name has changed and a new parameter has been added to indicate which charset to convert to or from. The build systems all check for fribidi 1 now (though there is still a bug in the cmake build that is expected to be fixed shortly), so the existing checks could be modified to define a value indicating which version to use in addition to its availability. _______________________________________________ Wesnoth-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/wesnoth-dev
