Hello All
Last month we were approached by Luca Pancallo from the Free Games
Alliance, asking if we would like to join. Basically the alliance is a
group of open source games, intended to promote their visibility on
the internet. The games that are currently part of the alliance include:
Xonotic: A futuristic first person shooter
Rigs of Rod: A vehicle simulation program
Mega Gleist: A fantasy realtime strategy
Planeshift: a 3D MMORPG
Its an eclectic group that covers a wide array of major genres in
gaming. The actual burden on our program is not onerous. We will add a
logo on the frontpage and add link to the FGA website. In addition we
may co-host events with other games in the alliance and do some other
promotional events. Its a win win for all parties. I believe the FGA
is a promising venture and we wish it a successful future. You should
try explore the other games at your leisure.
