Further update, The script is fully functional now and I've successfully converted the svn repository into almost 200 git repositories.
One difference between svn and git is how users are identified. SVN uses a simple username, while git uses both a name (possibly a real name) and an email address. svn2git uses an identity-map to map the former onto the latter. An example entry would be: ai0867 Alexander van Gessel (AI/AI0867) <[email protected]> Lacking such an entry, it instead generates: ai0867 <ai0867@localhost> The default domain here can be changed (to, say, translator.wesnoth.org), but it would be preferable for everyone with commit rights on wescamp to send me their preferred name and email address for git usage. Remaining work: gettext.wesnoth.org wescamp.py Alexander
