Hi everybody!
This mail is just meant to make some things regarding the stringfreeze clear
to everybody:
We are currently in a *HARD* string freeze which covers the game as well as
the announcement text. So *NO* changes are permitted there. Yes, this status
was supposed to be active for a while already, though some seem to have
misunderstood it. My rule is that following *ANY* change in the po files which
requires the translators attention there will be a two week waiting time
before I tag 1.10. So if you want to see 1.10 anytime "soon" make sure to not
edit strings. Here is what you should do if you encounter a situation where
you want to do something which requires a change to strings (yes, doc updates
are mandatory and docs are translatable, too!):

1) If you have some fundamental error where some rules and the likes are
described wrong: make sure to create a bug report entry so that it can be
fixed right after tagging 1.10.
2) If you have some inconsistency: make sure to list it in a bug report so
that it can be fixed right after tagging 1.10.
3) If you have some typo which can be fixed using "mass replacements" make
sure to add it on the wiki page for spelling mistakes [1].
4) If you just want to change a string for the sake of changing it: don't!

Yes, the freeze is active for both, trunk *AS WELL AS* the release
announcement since that one is translatable, too.
Cheers,
Nils Kneuper aka Ivanovic
