Hello Wesnoth devs. As part of my GSoC submission I put together the results of a small playtest. Having never played Wesnoth before I wrote down any confusions and problems I had while learning to play. It looks like my proposal isn't what the Wesnoth team wants, so I thought I might share my list in case any intrepid Wesnoth coder may be inspired to do some of these.

The ones I would have focused on were the unit selection and the feedback in the recruit screen. For the selection it's already implemented, someone just needs to add in image to the 'selected=""' line in game_config.cfg. For the recruit screen the problem is that if there's only one unit then that unit to recruit then is already highlighted, but a new player wouldn't know that, would click it anyway, and nothing would happen, and confusion would result. It needs a of mouseover highlight to indicate that it's clickable and some sort of feedback (a press animation) to indicate that something happened despite it already being selected.
