Hi folks!
During dinner at FOSDEM 2014 we also discussed the topic of content which is
new and unlikely to be much tested before the version is finally stable. We
had problems with those "load tests" before (e.g. with the multiplayer lobby).
Right now we might be facing an "issue" like this with the new race Khalifate.
The current setup is as follows:

* Default
* Age of Heroes
* Default + Khalifate
* Age of Heroes + Khalifate

I fear that not many people will use the "+ Khalifate" eras until the release
is out and we get the complaints about them being unbalanced. At that time it
is too late though due to our "(mp) compatibility" policy for stable series.
Because of this I propose that we encourage the testing using two simple steps:

1) Naming changes.
2) Have some tournament(s) shortly after a new release which is centered
around testing with/against the new faction.

Re 1):
What do you think of the following names?
* Default
* Age of Heroes
* Classic
* Classic Heroes

Yes, especially the last one might need some more work. The idea is to have
the era with the Khalifate preselected so that we might get some more testing.
Yes, this will also require some slight rewrite of the description but it
should not be rocket science, right?

Re 2):
Is anyone around who could get some small "feedback tournaments" started? I
know that parts of our MP community already did lots of work on balancing the
Khalifate, but some more can not hurt, right?

Please comment on this mail. If I receive no (negative) comment at all I will
just go ahead and change the names for the next development release which is
planned for "very soon".

Cheers,
Nils Kneuper aka Ivanovic
