Okay, we talked in IRC and some information so far is: * Shadowm is not interested in mentoring because he is not interested in mentoring. * mattsc can't mentor as primary mentor because he will not be available for several weeks during the summer. Instead he mentioned that he could co-mentor. The application time just started and we now need to get our proposals listed in the wiki [1]. Timotei already helped with the cleanup removing old content. Besides we also need to update the information for google [2]. My plan is to submit the proposal to google during the weekend (somehow together with releasing 1.11.9). The deadline for the submission is next week Friday, but I hope that we at least have some ideas listed by say Saturday so that we already have a basic ideas list (if someone from google starts early). If you want to check the google schedule, please look at [3]. Please keep in mind that the deadlines provided by google are "real" and hard deadlines, meaning that if they say February 14th at 19:00 UTC a submission at 19:01 would no longer be possible.
