Hi, I have posted a draft of the opening post for the Developers' Discussion forum thread that will serve as the primary guide for prospective contributors for the time being -- until the wiki's disastrous organization is fixed and the contents updated according to any developments that may take place after the thread is posted, at least.
The thread includes a list of people able to help contributors on IRC and via forum PM, but primarily via IRC. These are, to my knowledge, our only active (as in commit-pushing) developers as of this writing. Anyone I forgot to mention has until Saturday 00:00 UTC (that's less than 18 hours from now) to post their entries in replies to that thread before the real thing and the announcement go live. I will not list inactive developers unless they really can commit time and energy to answering questions and feel that their knowledge of our code base is reasonably current so as to be able to help people; or alternatively, I may list them if they can commit to becoming active again within the next two months. -- Regards Ignacio R.
