Nobody is threatening anybody here.
All we have been saying today is you and Kadara should stop sending your
mails which are useless to the development or future or even entertainment
of the people and friend of West Nile for whom this mailing list was set up.
Just respect the fact that members don't appreciate these particular inputs
that you guys make and stop sending them. Never try to impose them on
members - be respectful enough to know when your views are not welcome.
There is nothing wrong with keeping quite when you have nothing to
contribute. There is absolutely no crime in anybody choosing what
information they want to consume or don't.
Yiki, if you have been in this forum long enough you will realize there was
a time we went through this and even Orijabo Alfred and many others asked to
unsubscribe because they couldn't cope with these useless forwarded messages
on "seminars in North London on home care for French homes" for example and
Majid and Kadara agreed not to send such again, but its coming up again - we
cant continue moving around in circles.
Robert, (Adro) thanks for that way out on how to handle such issues, how
about look at it this way "You guys know that you will never avoid junk,
spam, germs, including the unlabelled H?P?s. You dont have to go and look
for H1P2 if you know WHO has declared certain places affected" we are not
going to these area who has declared unsafe, but some members from these
area are coming to us instead of staying in the quarantined areas. So we are
asking WHO to keep them in the Quarantine. Surely why should one be
subjected to the torture of having to navigate through the hundreds of mail
in today's busy world yet we can remove such people from the forum and share
real ideas?

I totally agree with the rights of individuals and freedom of expression.
One thing for sure we need to understand is to whom are you expressing
yourself and are you sure what you have expressed suits the interest of the
audience. We sincerely need to be mindful of what the audience are
interested in. Dont the audience also have the right to get what suits their
interest?. I am not one of the founder members and therefore not in position
to say whether it was intended for any kind of posting. My understanding is
for which I stand to be corrected that the net is meant for discussion on
topical issues that would address development issues of the region. To be
honest, of late I have earmarked some names and any posting from them I
delete immediately without bothering to read.

I share the same view with the above two. As you are aware most of us are
extremely busy and getting e-mails on non- topical issues is both
discouraging and annoying. I am suggesting that the adminstrator selects to
post only items that are relevant to the West Nile initiative. The eof
clogging the mails is going to be people getting off the list serve. Dear
brothers and sisters let us restrict our selves only to those ideas that
