Dear Friends, So much has been said about the saga that happned in Arua. Keeping a regional city like Arua with a population of over 55, 000 people very clean should be a responsibility of all the citizens who live there.
I am wondering if some of these barberians have visited a clean city outside Arua or Kampala for that matter. Municipal authorities have the duty and responsibility to run the city government which is not only limited to paying employees but maintain cleanliness, security, Libraries, Recreation facilities, roads, etc. Building a clean modern city should be a concern and responsibility of every intelligent beraucrat who knows governance. One person cannot claim or prove to be a hero. It's a shame that cleanliness should be turned as a weapon to attack someone who cannot stand the stench, rubbish, galleys, poor roads. I hope one day we can look at ourselves a team. Team building requires a lot of effort and training people with various idealogies, interests, knowledge, skills, ect. No single person can build a city, district or a country without the help of a good team. Why would some of these people claim to be managers if they cannot work or stand other people? I find it so stupid and ridiculous that a good manager would take his/her fist to attack other team members!
