My Brothers and Sisters I am apparently disturbed by the level on some online discussions and debate in this forum that is meant to drive 'development' in WN region. Most of these debate tends to destroy the growing spirit in many our members and demotivate them from looking at greater cooperation, useful communicatn and developing WN !
Am confident that the level of intellectualism acquired by our learnt members can be of productive advantage if we share these debates face to face, or call for WNF conference or Executive meeting to give the foundation clear and achievable objectives for FY2010, and focused direction . Similarly, flow of script or internet down loaded articles should only be send to interested group or persons . Not all Members required congestion of their emails, and or may be interested in receiving and reading such mails. Point in discussion is the level of our housing in WN. Back at home- especially in villages ,many of our people / communities still live in grass thatched houses despite annual homestead incomes obtained from different 'cash crops' grown across the year. I propose we start a low cost housing project - allowing for atleast one simple house of min 3 rooms, and a VIP toilet per home. A simple Home stead saving scheme project can be drawn to enforce little targeted savings for iron sheets and a like, and Bricks made locally. This is basically community effort but directed by WNF. In summary we need to move to read work draft to actual development plans for this year or other years to come, or else we waste time by sending demotivating mails and members start losing interest before our hands get on the real work . I suggest we organise WNF 1st ever meeting , or conference 2010 for direction of development plans. And all members send in contribution to support this meeting. Have a lovely day!
