Armed wing of Uganda Revenue Authority last week short 3 unarmed civilians in
Nyadri killing one. Two of the victims of the shootout are being treated at
Maracha Hospital. URA paid 900,000 for burial arrangements and delivered an
apology. The perpetuators of the gruesome killing are reportedly detained at
Military barracks. Police yesterday visited the injured almost 4 days after the
shooting at the hospital to record their statement. How can these peasants be
helped to ensure they are compensated particularly the children of the deceased
whose future hangs in shadows of life?
