The motion of using school debate for motivating students is well seconded. We should capture and translate some of these little incidents into an opportunity to challenge students in the schools in West Nile region to do better in academics.
There are many other areas that could be encouraged apart from academic excellence: a) Drama & Performing arts b) Games & Athletics c) Music d) etc May be we could introduce trophies for each of these disciplines. I am sure finding a handful of beautiful cups for each of these things would not be terribly expensive deal. I hope all of us do realize that WNF is a voluntary organization at this point. It can only be effective unless volunteers step forward to take lead on some commitees to make things happen. We cannot can expect sucess if people are not willing to sacrifice time to make things happen. jjAvudria On Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 8:51 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Send WestNileNet mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://orion.kym.net/mailman/listinfo/westnilenet > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [email protected] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [email protected] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of WestNileNet digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
