Dear colleagues,
As you all know, September has been a period in which our various political
parties have been choosing candidates to become their flag bearers in the
forthcoming Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Government elections. 2010
and 2011marks a significant moment in our History. We are going to elect
leaders. We are proud to inform you that some of our own members on this forum
offered themselves and were elected by their respective parties as the party
flag bearer. We have Dr. Eng. Gabriel Aridru who has been elected as the NRMO
flag bearer for Member of Parliament Arua Municipality, We have Hon. Christine
Abia, as the FDC/IPC flag bearer for Woman Member of Parliament for Arua
District and Oguzu Lee as the FDC/IPC flag bearer for Maracha Constituency.
These three individuals are not only members of the Foundation and this net but
have shared with us all the burning issues we have discussed affecting our
region. I would like to congratulate them on behalf
of the foundation and on my own behalf for having been elected as flag bearers
and we hope in due course they will share with us their vision for our region.
