Happy new year to you all. With deep sorrow I wish to let you know that four westnilers were shot this morning on lake victoria in Entebbe while coming back from the island. Two of them are already dead and one is in very critical condition and his survival is not certain. They were allegedly shot by police on patrol for illegal fishing. The person who reported the issue to police was also knocked by a car near the police station and his legs are broken and he has head injuries.The bodies are lying in Entebbe hospital. It is very unfortunate that the people who are to keep law and order turn out to take away lives. I believe we have civilized way of dealing with criminals in this country which the police are to follow But to kill unarmed civilians like this leaves alot to question. I hope government will bring such police to book. I wish people who are grabing our land in Barifa could also be shot dead on the spot like this becaue they are not following the law. "Animal farm" is what is taking place right now.
