On behalf of the organising committee of Maracha Academic Excellence Award, I would like to thank members who generously contributed towards this event. With your contributions, we managed to give 48 mattresses to all the pupils who passed in division one. Out of your contribution, we've also met the minimum deposit requirement for opening a bank account.
We are particularly indebted to Mandela SS, Latibo Foundation and High Field College for their offer of 4-year-full-bursaries to 6 desperate orphans whose future would have been doomed without their intervention.
To those who could not make it; don't be discouraged! People contribute at different times in different ways. We would be glad to include you in list of future donors for 2012 awards.
